Remarks :
On 21 December 2021, the Board of Directors of Gamuda Berhad ("Gamuda" or the "Company") ("Board") declared the single-tier first interim dividend in respect of the financial year ending ("FYE") 31 July 2022 of RM0.06 per ordinary share in Gamuda ("Gamuda Share") ("FYE 2022 First Interim Dividend"). The Board had also determined that the dividend reinvestment plan ("DRP") will apply to the entire FYE 2022 First Interim Dividend and shareholders be given an option to elect to reinvest the entire FYE 2022 First Interim Dividend in new Gamuda Shares ("Proposed DRP Application").
The Company had obtained the approval from its shareholders at the Company's 45th Annual General Meeting ("AGM") convened on 8 December 2021 for the renewal of its authority to allot and issue such number of new Gamuda Shares from time to time as may be required to be allotted and issued pursuant to the DRP until the conclusion of the next AGM of the Company or at the expiry of the period within which the next AGM is required to be held, whichever is earlier.
On behalf of the Board, RHB Investment Bank Berhad had on 21 January 2022, announced that the issue price of the new Gamuda Shares to be issued pursuant to the Proposed DRP Application had been fixed at RM2.53 per new Gamuda Share.
