GAMUDA'S EXISTING DIVIDEND REINVESTMENT PLAN ("DRP") THAT ALLOWS THE SHAREHOLDERS OF GAMUDA TO REINVEST THE ELECTABLE PORTION OF THEIR SECOND INTERIM DIVIDEND IN RESPECT OF THE FINANCIAL YEAR ENDED 31 JULY 2023 INTO NEW ORDINARY SHARES IN GAMUDA ("GAMUDA SHARES") ("DRP APPLICATION")
We refer to the Company's announcements dated 22 June 2023, 14 July 2023, 17 July 2023, 21 July 2023 and 8 August 2023 in relation to the DRP Application. Unless otherwise stated, the terms used herein shall have the same meaning as defined in the said announcements.
On behalf of the Board, RHB Investment Bank wishes to announce that based on the valid dividend reinvestment forms received by Tricor Investor & Issuing House Services Sdn Bhd, the share registrar of the Company, Gamuda will be issuing 31,163,142 new Gamuda Shares ("New Share(s)") at an issue price of RM3.97 per New Share pursuant to the DRP Application. The New Shares to be issued represent approximately 77.43% of the total number of 40,245,967 New Shares that would have been issued pursuant to the DRP Application had all the entitled shareholders of Gamuda elected to reinvest the electable portion of their FYE 2023 Second Interim Dividend into New Shares.
