GAMUDA'S EXISTING DIVIDEND REINVESTMENT PLAN ("DRP") THAT ALLOWS SHAREHOLDERS OF GAMUDA TO REINVEST THE ELECTABLE PORTION OF THEIR SECOND INTERIM DIVIDEND IN RESPECT OF THE FINANCIAL YEAR ENDING 31 JULY 2024 INTO NEW ORDINARY SHARES IN GAMUDA ("GAMUDA SHARES") ("DRP APPLICATION")
We refer to the Company's announcements dated 25 June 2024, 15 July 2024 and 16 July 2024 in relation to the DRP Application. Unless otherwise stated, the terms used herein shall have the same meaning as defined in the said announcements.
On behalf of the Board, RHB Investment Bank wishes to announce that the issue price of the new Gamuda Shares to be issued pursuant to the DRP Application has been fixed today ("Price-Fixing Date") at RM7.14 per new Gamuda Share. The issue price is based on the 5-day volume weighted average market price ("VWAP") of RM8.0292 per Gamuda Share up to and including 25 July 2024, being the last trading day prior to the Price-Fixing Date for the issue price of new Gamuda Shares after adjusting for the following:
(i) a dividend adjustment of RM0.10 to the 5-day VWAP ("Ex-Dividend VWAP"); and
(ii) a discount of RM0.7892 which is approximately 9.95% discount to the Ex-Dividend VWAP of RM7.9292.
For shareholders' information, the book closure date for the FYE 2024 Second Interim Dividend and the DRP Application has been fixed on 9 August 2024.
A copy of the DRP Statement and Notice of Election (including the Dividend Reinvestment Form) will be despatched to all the entitled shareholders of Gamuda (save for foreign-addressed shareholders of Gamuda) on 13 August 2024. The election period for the DRP Application will close on 27 August 2024.
The expected date for the allotment and issuance of new Gamuda Shares as well as payment of cash dividend to the entitled shareholders of Gamuda is on 5 September 2024.
Barring any unforeseen circumstances, the new Gamuda Shares arising from the DRP Application will be listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities on 6 September 2024.
