After completing her tertiary education, Puan Nazli joined Aseambankers Malaysia Berhad (ASEAM) [now known as Maybank Investment Bank Berhad] in September 1981, where she held various positions until January 1996. Her final position before leaving ASEAM was Head of Project Development. In February 1996, Puan Nazli joined Percon Corporation Sdn Bhd ("Percon"), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Permodalan Nasional Berhad, as the General Manager (Corporate Services). At Percon, she was tasked with implementing a financial and corporate restructuring scheme. The job involved enhancing, strengthening and developing Percon's competitive position in the field of engineering and construction. Additionally, she was responsible for shaping the corporate direction for Percon. At the group level, Puan Nazli represented Percon's interests in various subsidiaries and associate companies, ranging from road concession to property development, both locally and abroad. She left Percon in July 2002 and is currently not affiliated with any specific company. |
