Description
ACQUISITION OF A NEW SUBSIDIARY
Gamuda Berhad ("Gamuda" or "the Company") wishes to announce that the Company has on 3 December 2013 acquired the entire issued and paid-up share capital of Dinamik Atlantik Sdn Bhd ("DASB") comprising 2 ordinary shares of RM1.00 each for a cash consideration of RM2.00. With the acquisition, DASB has become a wholly-owned subsidiary of Gamuda.
DASB was incorporated on 30 September 2013 and is presently dormant. Its current authorised and issued and paid-up share capital are RM400,000.00 and RM2.00 respectively.
The above acquisition is not expected to have any material effect on the earnings and net assets of Gamuda for the financial year ending 31 July 2014.
None of the directors or substantial shareholders of the Company or persons connected to them has any interest, direct or indirect, in the said acquisition.
