OFFER TO ACQUIRE THE REMAINING EQUITY INTEREST IN KESAS HOLDINGS BERHAD NOT HELD BY GAMUDA BERHAD
We refer to the announcements dated 4 November 2013 and 18 November 2013 in relation to the offer to acquire the remaining equity interest in Kesas Holdings Berhad not held by Gamuda Berhad (“Gamuda”) (“Offer”).
On behalf of Gamuda, CIMB Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that the Offer has closed at 5.00 p.m. on Wednesday, 18 December 2013 (“Revised Closing Date”) and no further extension has been granted.
As at 5.00 p.m. on the Revised Closing Date, Gamuda has received acceptance in principle from Amcorp Properties Berhad subject to revision of certain terms of the Offer. Full details of the transaction will be announced after Gamuda and Amcorp Properties Berhad have signed the relevant sale and purchase agreement.
