OFFERS TO ACQUIRE THE REMAINING EQUITY INTEREST IN KESAS HOLDINGS BERHAD NOT HELD BY GAMUDA BERHAD
We refer to the announcement dated 23 December 2013 in relation to the new offers by Gamuda Berhad (“Gamuda”) to Perbadanan Kemajuan Negeri Selangor (“PKNS”) and Permodalan Nasional Berhad (“PNB”) to acquire their respective entire equity interest in Kesas Holdings Berhad (“New Offers”).
On behalf of Gamuda, CIMB Investment Bank Berhad wishes to announce that the New Offers have closed at 5.00 p.m. on Monday, 30 December 2013 (“Closing Date”) and no further extension has been granted.
As at 5.00 p.m. on the Closing Date, Gamuda has received acceptance from PNB in relation to the New Offers. Full details of the transaction will be announced after the relevant sale and purchase agreements have been signed.
