GAMUDA BERHAD (“GAMUDA” OR “THE COMPANY”)
- ADVANCE NOTIFICATION OF THE NON-RENEWAL OF THE RAW WATER EXTRACTION LICENCE
Gamuda wishes to announce that Syarikat Pengeluar Air Sungai Selangor Sdn Bhd (“SPLASH”) had on 6 March 2014 received a letter dated 5 March 2014 from Lembaga Urus Air Selangor (“LUAS”) informing SPLASH that its existing licence to extract raw water expiring on 30 June 2014 will not be renewed after its expiry.
The Board of Syarikat Pengeluar Air Selangor Holdings Berhad (“SPLASH Holdings”) will deliberate on it and we will make the appropriate announcement to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad if there is any development on this matter.
