GAMUDA BERHAD (GAMUDA OR THE COMPANY)
PROPOSED ACQUISITION OF LEASEHOLD LANDS IN MUKIM RAWANG, DISTRICT OF GOMBAK, SELANGOR DARUL EHSAN FOR A TOTAL CASH CONSIDERATION OF RM620.0 MILLION (PROPOSED ACQUISITION)
We refer to our announcements dated 13 June 2013 (“First Announcement”) and 19 July 2013 in relation to the Proposed Acquisition.
Unless otherwise defined in this announcement, the definitions set out in the First Announcement shall apply herein.
Gamuda wishes to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Temasek Ekslusif Sdn Bhd (“TESB” or “Purchaser”) and TPPT Sdn Bhd (“TPPT” or “Vendor”) have on 25 May 2015 entered into a Supplementary Letter of Variation (“Supplemental Letter”) to exclude the sale and purchase of Lot 3812 (now known as Lot 35192) (“Lot 35192”) measuring approximately 1.495 acres from the Proposed Acquisition. Accordingly, the Purchase Consideration shall be reduced to RM618,719,367.90 by a reduction of RM1,280,632.10 attributable to the Lot 35192 from the original Purchase Consideration of RM620.0 million.
