GAMUDA - Notice of Rights Entitlement (Ratio)

RENOUNCEABLE RIGHTS ISSUE OF 400,984,509 WARRANTS IN GAMUDA BERHAD ("GAMUDA") ("WARRANT(S)") ON THE BASIS OF ONE (1) WARRANT FOR EVERY SIX (6) EXISTING ORDINARY SHARES OF RM1.00 EACH HELD IN GAMUDA AT 5.00 P.M. ON THURSDAY, 11 FEBRUARY 2016, AT AN ISSUE PRICE OF RM0.25 PER WARRANT ("RIGHTS ISSUE OF WARRANTS").
Kindly be advised of the following :
1) The above Company’s securities will be traded and quoted “Ex-Rights Issue” as from: 5 Feb 2016
2) The last date of lodgment : 11 Feb 2016
3) Retention Money: Where securities are not delivered in time for registration by the seller, then the brokers concerned:-
a) Selling Broker to deduct<1/7>, of Selling Price against the Selling Client
b) Buying Broker to deduct <10%>, of Purchase Price against the Buying Client
c) Between Broker and Broker, the deduction of <1/7>, of the Transacted Price is applicable.
Remarks :- (The terms used herein shall, unless the context otherwise states, bear the same meaning as those defined in the circular to shareholders dated 9 November 2015 in relation to the Rights Issue of Warrants) The Abridged Prospectus accompanying the Notice of Provisional Allotment and Rights Subscription Form ("Documents") will be despatched to the Entitled Shareholders who have a registered address in Malaysia and whose names appear on the Record of Depositors of Gamuda at 5.00 p.m. on 11 February 2016. The Entitled Shareholders who are without a registered address in Malaysia and wish to provide a Malaysian address should inform their respective stockbrokers and the Share Registrar to effect the change of address prior to 11 February 2016. The Documents are not intended to be (and will not be) issued, circulated or distributed in countries or jurisdictions other than Malaysia. No action has been or will be taken to ensure that the Rights Issue of Warrants and the Documents comply with the laws of any countries or jurisdictions other than Malaysia. The date of listing of the Warrants on the Main Market of Bursa Securities will be on 11 March 2016. The Documents will be despatched to the Entitled Shareholders not later than two (2) market days from the Entitlement Date. This announcement is dated 22 January 2016.
