The terms used herein, unless the context otherwise states, shall bear the same meaning as those defined in the Abridged Prospectus issued by Gamuda dated 11 February 2016.
We refer to the earlier announcements in relation to the Rights Issue of Warrants as well as the Abridged Prospectus issued by Gamuda dated 11 February 2016.
On behalf of the Board, RHB Investment Bank wishes to announce that as at the closing of acceptance, excess application and payment for the Rights Issue of Warrants at 5.00 p.m. on 26 February 2016 (“Closing Date”), Gamuda had received valid acceptances and excess applications for a total of 1,037,550,990 Warrants. This represents an oversubscription of 158.75% over the total number of Warrants available for subscription under the Rights Issue of Warrants.
The details of the acceptances and excess applications received as at the Closing Date are set out in the table below:-

The Warrants which are not taken up or not validly taken up by the Entitled Shareholders and/or their renouncee(s) and/or transferee(s) (if applicable) by the Closing Date will be allotted to applicants who have applied for the Excess Warrants in the priority set out in Section 3.8 of the Abridged Prospectus dated 11 February 2016 as follows:-
- firstly, to minimise the incidence of odd lots;
- secondly, for allocation to Entitled Shareholders who have applied for Excess Warrants, on a pro-rata basis and in board lots, calculated based on their respective shareholdings as at the Entitlement Date;
- thirdly, for allocation to Entitled Shareholders who have applied for Excess Warrants, on a pro-rata basis and in board lots, calculated based on the quantum of their respective Excess Warrants applied for; and
- finally, for allocation to transferee(s) and/or renouncee(s) who have applied for Excess Warrants, on a pro-rata basis and in board lots, calculated based on the quantum of their respective Excess Warrants applied for.
The Warrants are expected to be listed on the Main Market of Bursa Securities on 11 March 2016.
