References are made to the announcements made by Gamuda Berhad (Company No. 29579-T) (“Gamuda” or “Company”) on 9 March 2018 and 5 June 2018 respectively, pertaining to the TNB Suit.

The Company wishes to inform that the solicitors representing its 80% owned subsidiary, Gamuda Water has on 13 June 2018 updated on the Case Management for the TNB Suit which was held  on 12 June 2018, as follows: -

(a)  Gamuda Water has filed the Applications for a Stay of Proceedings on 12 June 2018.

(b)  The Shah Alam High Court Hearing then gave the following directions: -

• TNB and Gamuda Water are required to submit their replies by 2 and 17 July 2018, respectively;
• Written submissions in English are to be filed by both parties and exchanged by 31 July 2018.

The date for the next Hearing of the TNB Suit has been fixed on 13 August 2018.

Gamuda will make the appropriate announcements to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad as and when there are material developments in relation thereof and/or upon receipt of the court’s decision. Any updates on the TNB Suit including hearing dates will be disclosed in the quarterly results of the Company.
