TENAGA NASIONAL BERHAD VS SUNGAI HARMONI SDN BHD ("PLAINTIFF") VS SYARIKAT PENGELUAR AIR SUNGAI SELANGOR SDN BHD ("3RD PARTY") SHAH ALAM HIGH COURT SUIT: SUIT NO. BA-22NCvC-98-03/2018 (CONSOLIDATED WITH SUIT NO. BA-22NCvC-99-03/2018) ("3RD PARTY NOTICE")
Reference is made to the earlier announcement dated 2 April 2018 made by Gamuda Berhad (Company No. 29579-T) (“Gamuda” or “Company”) pertaining to the 3rd Party Notice.
The Company wishes to inform that at the hearing held today, 31 July 2018, the High Court has allowed Syarikat Pengeluar Air Sungai Selangor Sdn Bhd’s application to stay the third party proceedings with cost pending reference to arbitration.
Gamuda will make the appropriate announcements to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad as and when there are material developments in relation thereof. However, updates on the 3rd Party Notice including hearing dates (if applicable) will be disclosed in the quarterly results of the Company.
