UPDATE ON NOTICE OF INTENTION TO COMMENCE ARBITRATION BY EMRAIL SDN BHD (COMPANY NO. 13875-D) ("EMRAIL") AGAINST MMC-GAMUDA JOINT VENTURE SDN BHD (COMPANY NO. 414492-M) ("MGJV") ("NOTICE")
Reference is made to the announcements made by Gamuda Berhad (Company No. 29579-T) (“Gamuda” or “Company”) on 29 October 2018 and 6 December 2018 respectively, pertaining to the Notice received by its 50% jointly controlled entity, MGJV.
Gamuda wishes to inform that Emrail has withdrawn the Notice against MGJV. Consequently, the originating summons filed by MGJV to the Kuala Lumpur High Court on 6 December 2018 to challenge the Notice was also withdrawn by MGJV.
