DIVIDEND REINVESTMENT PLAN ("DRP") APPLICABLE TO THE FIRST INTERIM DIVIDEND IN RESPECT OF THE FINANCIAL YEAR ENDING 31 JULY 2020 ("1ST DRP")
We refer to the Company’s announcements dated 13 December 2019, 17 December 2019, 19 December 2019, 13 January 2020, and 30 January 2020 in relation to the 1st DRP (“Announcements”). Unless otherwise defined, the abbreviations and definitions used in the Announcements shall apply herein.
On behalf of the Board of Gamuda, RHBIB is pleased to announce that based on the valid dividend reinvestment forms received by Tricor Investor & Issuing House Services Sdn Bhd, the share registrar of the Company, Gamuda will be issuing 19,829,839 new ordinary shares in the Company (“New Shares”) at the issue price of RM3.60 per New Share pursuant to the 1st DRP. The New Shares to be issued represent approximately 47.95% of the total number of 41,351,718 New Shares that would have been issued pursuant to the 1st DRP had all the entitled shareholders of Gamuda elected to reinvest the electable portion of their first interim dividend in respect of the financial year ending 31 July 2020 into New Shares.
